The Winners of the Mommy and Me Contest!!

Last April, I hosted a Mommy and Me contest in honor of Mother's Day.  Amanda and Kennedi were the winners! I always get a little nervous when photographing kids under 3 because they are always so ready to explore and move.... not sit in front of a camera. Kennedi did great in front of the camera and while she did do her fair share of exploring she did sit for the camera too! Congratulations for winning the contest Amanda and Kennedi. I hope you enjoy the pictures!!

Erin's Senior Session

This session was during our extreme heat wave we had a week ago. It was so hot and humid, and storms were coming through all day. I did the little rain dance I do when rain is coming to impede on my sessions. We already had to reschedule once because of the Fireworks so I am glad my little dance worked.

Erin is 16 and graduating . . . What an amazing achievement! Her favorite hobby is reading so we did some pictures of her doing what she loves. She was so much fun and an absolute beauty in front of the camera.

Congratulations Erin! Good luck in your future endeavors, I have no doubt you will do awesome!

Check out the the slide show to see more of Erin's session.

Jenna's Senior Session

I have had the pleasure of knowing Jenna since she was a little baby (I am not going to even go into how old that makes me feel).   Jenna will be graduating from Middletown High School class of 2014.

Jenna wasn't sure where she wanted to have her location, so we decided go to Antietam Battlefield. We started off at Dunker Church and made our way over to the Watch Tower. The session was just before sunset and the lighting was perfect. Below are some more shoots taken at her session.

Congratulations Jenna and Good Luck in your future. I know you will do great!

Senior Sessions Answered

Graduating High school is a big step in any young adults life, what better way to preserve those memories than to to have photos to remember that special time in your life. Visionary Photography and Design offers multiple sessions so you can find a package that will work for you.

When setting up a session we will first discuss a location.  You can have as many locations as you would like and also pick any place  (within a 20 mile radius, will travel farther for fee). When picking you location, try and think of any areas that are special to you. If you are dancer,  a dance studio might be a special place to you. If you play sports maybe its the high school field. If you are unsure of a location that is ok, when we discuss your session details, we will make suggestions as to where we could go.

The next step is going over the smaller details of the session. You will again think of your interest and what you would like to show off in your portraits. We will discuss any props that would like to be included, and outfit changes you would like to have.  It's always best to be prepared before the day of the session with these details, so all you have to worry about is getting yourself ready.

During the session you are more then welcome to bring family with you. Just make sure that you are comfortable with who you have around you. Its important to be relaxed when getting your pictures taken, and if you are not comfortable it will be noticeable.

Once the session happens it usually takes 7-10 business days for post processing. As soon as we complete your session we will send an online gallery to you that you can share with friends and family.

Depending on the package you pick will depend on the next step. if you choose the Senior Session or the Extreme Senior Session, you will let me know the the pictures you would like for print and digital. At that time we will begin to discuss what you would like your Graduation Announcement to look like. It usually take 2 weeks for delivery on prints and 3-4 weeks for delivery for the graduation announcements. If you just chose the 1 hour session once you receive your gallery you will let us know which files you would like for your digital files. You can also order in print packages you may want at that time. We do request that all print order be paid before the session.  We keep fall images for 1 year after the session, so if you would like prints but can't afford them at the time of the session you can order prints anytime within a year from the date of your session.  To see details about our packages please go to out packages tab.
